Eleana caught me by surprise going into labour a day before her due date, I only just got her into her birthing quarter before the first kittens arrived. She went on to produce a further eight kittens with only one being stillborn. She is certainly going to have her work cut out caring for such a large litter but so far she is a diligent and caring mum rarely leaving her babies.
